Our first day in Ecuador was absolutely amazing! We are in awe of the majestic Andes mountains. We are learning a lot about the culture here. We are also able to see the snowy tip of Cotopaxi, the very active and steaming volcano, from our hotel window. It is breathtaking! Today’s adventures took us to the center of the earth at the Equator Museum. We stood on the equator and both hemispheres of the earth. Our tour guide taught us a lot about the various indigenous tribes in Ecuador along with the country’s rich history. We are having a fabulous time and soaking in all the culture. As they say in Quito “¡Ecuador ama la vida!”
